Yesterday the communications teams of The North Georgia Conference and the United Methodist Children’s Home launched a Takeover Day.
For the past month we have collected inspiring stories and resources, and created special graphics to provide the ultimate support for a ministry that everyone loves. The takeover day consisted of changing our website colors to mimic the Children’s Home site, using special cover photos and profile pictures across our social media sites, and allowing the home to “take over” our news feeds on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with informational updates, stories, and promotions.
The effort result in an increase of followers for both the conference and the home across social media. Several inquired and gained interest in the upcoming North Georgia United Methodist special offering day for the ministry.
